The boys bowling team saw a 3-0 loss to Great Neck South on Wednesday at Herrill Lanes. It was their second loss this week, unfortunately, having fallen to Manhasset High School on Monday.
After Great Neck South defeated Port 817-483, the Vikings picked up momentum. It was not enough, however, as Great Neck South continued its winning streak, 634-494 and 670-547.
Heroes: Coach Alan Hagel praised first year team bowlers freshman Jamison Santelli and senior Jeremy Kass, who each bowled a "turkey" – three strikes in a row. Senior Ari Schickler has been turning in high scores all season and gets stronger each week.
