Carrie Palmer Weber's Newest Principal Honored by South Salem HSA
South Salem's principal for the past 11 years began his new position as principal of Carrie Palmer Weber Middle School on Wednesday.

The newest president of Carrie Palmer Weber Middle School, who officially started his position Wednesday, was honored at South Salem Elementary School Home School Association’s recent breakfast event.
Christopher Shields was recognized by the HSA for having served as the principal of South Salem Elementary School for the past 11 years and was commended for his new position.

Shields was recognized for his leadership, steadfastness and overall dedication to the school and its community.
He was recognized following the breakfast event, which also honored parents who volunteered throughout the year.
