Sands Point Preserve Conservancy Invites Guests to Go ‘Down the Rabbit Hole’ at Halloween Ball

The Sands Point Preserve Conservancy invites guests to leave reality behind and travel down the rabbit hole at its annual Halloween Ball on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 8-11 p.m. at the historic Hempstead House. Tickets went on sale Wednesday, Sept. 9.
This year’s Halloween Ball will transport guests into a twisted “Wonderland,” where nothing is quite as it seems. The evening will feature dinner, an open bar and an unrivaled dance party inside Hempstead House, along with curious characters and mysterious mischief.
Guests are encouraged to embrace the Halloween spirit and arrive in costume. Those opting to leave the costumes at home are asked to wear cocktail attire.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming guests to Hempstead House for a fun and memorable Halloween evening,” said Jeremiah Bosgang, executive director of the Sands Point Preserve Conservancy. “The Halloween Ball is one of our most popular parties and an important fundraiser for the Conservancy. In addition to fabulous food, drinks, and dancing, we’ll be decorating Hempstead House so that guests feel like they’re entering a strange new world. We hope guests will come ready to have fun, get into the spirit and see what surprises await them down the rabbit hole.”
General admission tickets are $250, plus credit card fees, and include dinner, a full open bar and a night of dancing.
For guests seeking an even more immersive experience, VIP packages, starting at $1,000, include admission to both the Mad Hatter’s Tea, which runs from 7-8 p.m., and the Halloween Ball. At the tea, guests can sip special cocktails with the quirky creatures of a warped Wonderland, where surprises await those who venture into the Mad Hatter’s world.
