COMPASSIONATE CARE ACT NEARING A VOTE

Following is an email I received from Compassionate Care NY regarding the anticipated vote to legalize medical marijuana by the Senate Health Committee.

The Senate Health Committee could vote on the Compassionate Care Act (S.4406-B) as early as next Tuesday. A “yes” vote from this committee would bring us one important step closer to insuring that seriously ill patients in New York have safe and legal access medical marijuana.

You can help!

Here’s how: Call the members of the Health Committee below and urge them to vote yes on the Compassionate Care Act (S.4406-B) when it comes up for a vote in the Committee. The members at the top of the list need the most attention.

Committee Members who need pressure to support the Compassionate Care Act:

Please call as many as you can. If you’ve already called through this list, please ask three (or more!) of your friends and family to do the same. The more calls we generate, the more likely these members will vote yes.
