UPDATE: Police Reopen LIE Service Road After Accident

North Service Road in North Hills was closed Wednesday afternoon, cops said.

Nassau County Police reopened a Long Island Expressway service road after a car accident Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the North Service Road in North Hills would be closed until further notice as officials secured the scene.

Cops closed the road at 12:30 p.m. west of Shelter Rock Road and announced it had been reopened just after 5 p.m.
