Two lanes on the Long Island Expressway are closed as of Wednesday afternoon due to a crash, police say.

According to authorities, the crash occurred near Exit 36 in Roslyn Heights at around 4:15 p.m.

The left and HOV eastbound lanes are closed following the crash.

Motorists can expect delays.

Nassau County Police did not have additional information on the crash at this time.
