Crime Report: Marijuana Arrest, Assault Charges

Incidents from past week from the Port Washington Police District.

The following information is taken directly from the latest felony report. None of the defendants has been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints in the report are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

Arrests

A Port Washington man was placed under arrest for possession of marijuana on Pleasant Avenue on Sept. 16.

A Port Washington man was placed under arrest for animal cruelty on Main Street on Sept. 21.

A Port Washington man was placed under arrest for assault, reckless endangerment, fleeing a police officer, resisting arrest and reckless driving on Shore Road on Sept. 23.

After being involved in a domestic incident, a Port Washington man was placed under arrest on Library Drive on Oct. 3.

Complaints

Police received a report of being the victim of fraud on North Washington Street on Sept. 22.

A woman on Bayview Avenue reported that her pocketbook was stolen from her parked car on Sept. 30.

A man reported that he lost his wallet on Haven Avenue on Sept. 30.

Police received a report that an unknown person or persons tried to gain entry into a Crestwood Road home on Oct. 1.
