Distinguished Panel to Address NYS Education Policy in Port Washington

The event will be hosted by the League of Women Voters of Port Washington-Manhasset.

Five distinguished leaders are coming to Port Washington to share their diverse knowledge on education and to answer the question, “NYS Education Policy: How and by Whom Is It Set? Are Changes to the Current System Needed?”

Come hear their ideas and opinions, which should be informative and, hopefully, help answer some questions about the state’s education policy at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at Landmark on Main Street.

The League of Women Voters of Port Washington-Manhasset believe these questions are important discussion topics, given the significant interest and controversy currently surrounding K-12 education policy in New York State.
