Service Restored After Downed Pole Suspends Port Washington LIRR Service
BREAKING: Customers are being accommodated in both directions by bus service between Port Washington and Great Neck.

Service on the Port Washington branch between Port Washington and Great Neck has been restored in both directions, the Long Island Rail Road announced Monday afternoon.
Full train service has been restored in both directions between Great Neck and Port Washington following an earlier partial suspension.

The Port Washington Branch is suspended in both directions after a utility pole fell down near Plandome on Monday morning, the Metropolitan Transit Authority says.
