Annual 5K Helen’s Walk

Helen Keller National Center Kicks off Helen’s Walk 2012

The Helen Keller National Center (HKNC) has begun planning for the annual 5K Helen’s Walk to be held on Sunday, April 29, 2012. As in the years past, this popular event attracts walkers from the Port Washington Community as well as walkers from all over Long Island who are looking for a great way to enjoy a beautiful walk, while raising money for people who live without sight and sound. Funds raised through Helen’s Walk 2012 will ensure HKNC remains a support and resource to all individuals throughout the country who  face the challenges of vision and hearing loss. It is not too early to begin organizing a team. Walking in a team is a great way to experience the walk.

Check-in & Registration begin 8:00-9:00 a.m. on April 29, 2012 at the Sands Point Preserve.
