"Birds of Prey" at Sands Point Preserve

Science Sundays' next event is "Birds of Prey" on March 11 at noon to 1:00 p.m.  Children of all ages can view fascinating raptors at this exciting demonstration that includes live hawks and owls.  Learn important information about the conservation of these species.  The program is conducted by Wild Life Rescue Center of the Hamptons.

Next Science Sunday is on May 6: "Beautiful Butterlies" at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Learn about the fascinating life cycle of these magical creatures - and ways to attract them to your garden! The program will be conducted by Educational Warehouse.

"Radical Reptiles" takes place on May 20, 2012 at noon. This program explores the biology of these cool, scaly creatures – snakes, lizards, and turtles - as well as common misconceptions about them – in a fascinating live demonstration conducted by Wildlife Rescue of the Hamptons.
