Washington Crossing the Delaware as it Really Happened!
For its first public Long Island showing, Mort Künstler’s new, historically accurate rendition of Washington crossing the Delaware will be on view at the museum through Presidents Week, from Saturday, February 18 to Sunday, February 26. The work was commissioned by former Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi. It is hung in a second floor gallery adjacent to the Museum Store. Don’t miss!
