Fifth Annual Restaurant Week

The Village of Great Neck Plaza and the Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District (BID) announce plans for the fifth annual Restaurant Week beginning Sunday, October 30, and continuing until Sunday, November 6.  The 2011 Fall edition of Restaurant Week will feature the village’s finest restaurants including Pancho’s Border Grill, Elaine’s Asian Bistro, ERA Asian Cuisine (formerly Hinata, same management), Bruce’s Restaurant, Lola, Jean Marie Patisserie & Bistro, La Rotonda, Laverne of Great Neck and many more.  All participating restaurants will offer a variety of Prix Fixe dinners for $23.95, making for an affordable week of dining out for Long Islanders.

“Great Neck Plaza is a dining destination that is vibrant and enjoyable,” said Jeff Moss, BID Board member, co-chair of the BID Restaurant Week committee and owner of Pancho's Border Grill. “Patrons can choose between American, Mexican, Asian, Greek, Italian and Mediterranean – a different type of restaurant each night of the week.”

In conjunction with the start of Restaurant Week, the village and the Great Neck BID will also be hosting the fifth annual Halloween Celebration and Parade on Sunday, October 30 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.  The children of Great Neck and neighboring communities are invited to be a part of the parade dressed up in their favorite costumes.  Everyone attending the celebration are encouraged to enjoy the day's variety of games and entertainment, and return for dinner on the first night of Restaurant Week.
