Hollywood screenwriter Gil (Owen Wilson) and his girlfriend Inez (Rachel McAdams) take a vacation in Paris. On a midnight stroll, Gil wanders into the Paris of the 1920s, where he encounters such luminaries as Josephine Baker, Luis Bunuel, Salvador Dali, Edgar Degas, T.S. Eliot, F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, Paul Gauguin, Ernest Hemingway, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Cole Porter, Man Ray, Gertrude Stein, Alice B. Toklas and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Director Woody Allen also scripted this romantic comedy.
