Stephen Meyers (Ryan Gosling), an idealistic staffer for presidential candidate Mike Morris (George Clooney), gets a crash course in dirty politics. Clooney also produced and directed, and scripted with co-producer Grant Heslov and Beau Willimon, from the latter’s stage play, Farragut North. Philip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Giamatti, Marisa Tomei, Jeffrey Wright and Evan Rachel Wood co-star.
