SEPTA Meeting: College Admissions for Students with Disabilities
Join SEPTA and Hank Hardy, Guidance, on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 7:00pm in the Schreiber Cafeteria for a panel discussion related to college admissions for students with disabilities. The panel will consist of college admissions counselors from SUNY @ Stony Brook, Adelphi University, Long Island University/CW Post, and Nassau Community College. The topics will include the admissions process, the do’s and don’ts in filling out the application, how to best address your needs, and dispelling the “myths” of disclosing your unique situation to the college admissions counselor.
