What is the Inter-town Soccer Program?
The Inter-town Program is like the soccer version of the American dream: Any kid can be a part of it, work hard and have fun, and succeed.

It is sponsored by the Port Washington Soccer Club, a Community Chest sponsored organization run by volunteers to provide a soccer program to approximately 800 youth of our community. Its Inter-town program offers a fun soccer experience that is an alternative to playing on a “Travel Team” (with less time commitment and cost), or a bridge between an intramural and a travel soccer experience.
Who is eligible?
Girls and Boys who are in or entering 4th through 9th grade. No formal experience in playing soccer is necessary to join an Inter-town soccer team.
When are practices/ games?
Weekly practices occur Saturday mornings; games occur on Sundays and some Saturdays in the fall and spring seasons. Go to www.pwsoccer.com and click on “Inter-town Schedule” for more details.
Where are practices and games held?
Practices are held at the Sousa elementary school field. Home games are typically held at the Sousa or Daly school fields; away games occur at various Nassau fields.
What is the cost?
$145 for the season; scholarships are available.
What is included?
All registered players receive instruction by certified soccer trainers at each Saturday practice. They also receive a uniform and soccer ball at the beginning of their starting season. Players need to purchase cleats and shin pads.
How do I pre-register for the season?
Go to http://www.sportssignup.com/Port-Washington-Soccer-Club-Online-Registration.start. Click Register Online, create profile, select “Intertown” and you’re on your way!

When will I be contacted?
Coaches will contact you before the season to receive uniform/ equipment, the season game schedule, and further information; Seasons begin mid-September & mid-March.
