Firefighters Respond To Sands Point Village Hall For Smoke
Once on scene, firefighters investigated and located an over heated rubber belt in the HVAC unit.

PORT WASHINGTON, NY --Firefighters responded to Sands Point Village Hall in reference to smoke in the building,
Brian Waterson, assistant chief of the Port Washington Fire Department, told Patch an alarm sounded in the area around 5:20 p.m. Monday.
Once on scene, firefighters investigated and located an over heated rubber belt in the HVAC unit, according to Waterson.
