FOL Note Cards Feature Images of Historic Port, Great for Holidays!

Looking for unique and distinctive holiday cards or thank you notes? The Friends of the Library produces note cards featuring striking images of “Old Port Washington.” Boxes containing 20 cards and envelopes are available for just $15 at the circulation desk in the library lobby. Each box contains cards with four different images: Lower Main Street (pictured), Mill Pond, Port Washington Harbor, and the Old Mill, all circa early 1900s. The photos were selected from the library’s extensive Local History Collection. Proceeds benefit the Friends, which supports the library through volunteerism, programming, fundraising, outreach and advocacy. The Friends’ annual fundraising appeal is underway now.
