New York State is a leader in promoting fossil-free alternative energy sources on the local level. Governor Cuomo is currently considering a geothermal heat pump incentive law to encourage New Yorkers to invest in this state-of-the-art energy system. Burning oil, propane, and gas to heat buildings is an even greater source of greenhouse gas emissions in our state than generating electricity. Geothermal Heat Pumps (GHPs) use the renewable solar energy stored in the ground to heat and cool without producing greenhouse gases on site. Come to gather information on this exciting alternative.

Besides these exciting vendors, we’ll have all your familiar favorites, including fresh produce from local organic farmers, fresh-caught local fish, baked goods, herbs, flowers, pasta, gluten-free items, and much more at the only organic Farmers’ Market in New York State. Come join us, rain or shine, this Saturday morning from 8 a.m. until 12 noon at the Town Dock!
