Freaky Fridays at Sweeties in Port Washington

Port Washington students can now add a new stop to their Fridays on Main Street experience. That's because Sweeties Candy Cottage is offering “Freaky Fridays” – a weekly event where chocolate lovers can create their own concoction.

Each Friday, there's a different theme. One Friday, it was create you own chocolate bar. Another, it was make your own chocolate pretzal pizza.

Here's how it works – visitors to the shop pay $4 and then select their own mix-ins, which Sweeties mixes with chocolate to produce their very own treat, which is then wrapped and presented.  

For some, it's a confection-lovers dream come true.
