The Port Washington girls badminton team defeated the two-time defending county champions, Calhoun High School in Merrick Monday, in what Schreiber High School Athletic Director Stephanie Joannon described as "a thrilling 4-3 match to capture the Nassau County Championships."
"Congratulations to Coach Dave O'Connor and the team for this wonderful accomplishment," Joannon added.
