Landmark to Hold Free Concert for Students

Landmark on Main Street is holding its first free student concert on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 4 p.m. to see jazz artist Jonathan Batiste.

Batiste, who is performing at Landmark on Friday, March 1 at 8 p.m., has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center and more. Featured on the HBO series Treme, he has also collaborated with Wynton Marsalis, Prince and Jimmy Buffet to name just a few.

The free student concert is an “open rehearsal with an audience talk back,” said Landmark’s Executive Director Sharon Maier-Kennelly.

The free show is being marketed to local high school, middle school and college students.
