Last Chance: Small Biz Summit

The Town of North Hempstead Business & Tourism Development Corporation will host a free half-day Small Business Solutions Summit Friday at The Amsterdam at Harborside in Port Washington.

The event, which runs from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., includes speakers Rep. Steve Israel, D-Huntington, and Vision Long Island’s Eric Alexander. Also featured is urban planner Larisa Ortiz Pu-Folkes, who will focus on collaborative marketing and counts City of Glen Cove Community Development Agency among her clients. 

The Summit touts a roster of experts who will share insights into the local economic forecast, business plan development, financing, collaborative marketing, Obamacare to sales and use tax exemptions.
