On Wednesday July 31st, Legislator Wink hosted a Tax Exemption workshop at the Port Washington Library. People came and found out information on the various available exemptions, such as STAR, Veterans, Senior, etc. Randolph Yunker, Director of Community Relations for the Department of Assessment, was present with staff to assist people in applying for exemptions. The program was a great success. A big thank you to all who participated.
