Let’s Do This! Keeping Port Washington Litter-Free

Residents annual meeting on Nov 29 will discuss "Litter Matters," which focuses on the community's litter issues and potential solutions.

Residents is holding its 2016 Annual Meeting “Litter Matters” at the Port Washington Public Library on November 29 at 7pm. The public and press are invited to attend.

With the organization’s commitment to creating programs that keep Port clean and beautiful, it has made reducing litter a critical action item for the coming year and beyond. With this in mind, the organization will share key learning, coming out of its recent data-tracking pilot, along with best practices from other communities that have been instrumental in identifying how to make Port litter-free.

As part of this event, Residents will be joined by Anthony Capece, Executive Director, Central District Management Association. Mr. Capece has led many successful revitalization programs, resulting in a transformation of both the businesses and community. Anthony has administrated a clean team program that spans 10 miles of sidewalk cleaning everyday, 7 days a week.
