Visit the Port Washington Public Library for a community celebration of the library’s completed solar roof on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m.
The fesitivities will include music, refreshments and recognition of the projects’ sponsors. Celebrate the sun in song with singer/guitarist Tom Cavanagh, who is known to library audiences for his Johnny Cash and George Harrison performances.
The library’s solar roof was made possible in part with a grant from Winthrop-University Hospital, facilitated by CBS EcoMedia, Inc.
