Local Politicians Kick Off Historical Society's "Magical History Tour"
Join the fun, and take the tour yourself -- Sundays at 11am!

On a cloudless, blue sky morning, The Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society (www.cowneck.org) was thrilled to introduce The Magical History Tour - 90-minute, docent-led, narrated walking tours along Port Washington’s Historic Bay Walk to seven of our local politicians. Magical History Tours will continue to be held on Sundays, at 11:00 a.m. sharp, through the end of October. Tours will start at the Town Dock and end at the Port North dock, across the street from Stop & Shop. Local history of the Port Washington peninsula will include the shell fishing industry, sand mining, local aviation (and the first commercial flights to Europe) as well as the development of the local waterfront. Visit www.cowneck.org for more information or to make your reservations for The Magical History Tour!
