Man Arrested in Flower Hill Burglary
The man was arrested on Port Washington Boulevard, police say.

A Queens man was arrested for a burglary that occurred in Flower Hill last week, authorities said Monday.
Nassau detectives say that a 60-year-old woman returned home on on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 8:24 pm. and discovered a suspicious person in her driveway. Upon entering her home she discovered it had been burglarized and called 911.
Officers responded and when canvassing the area stopped a man on Port Washington Boulevard. The investigation resulted in the arrest of a 16-year-old Queens man whose identity, police say, has not yet been verified.

The man was charged with second-degree burglary and seventh-degree criminal possession controlled substance. He was arraigned in First District Court on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
