Man Stole $515 in Groceries From Port Washington Store: Police
The Port Washington Police District is looking to identify this man.

PORT WASHINGTON, NY— Port Washington Police are looking to identify the man who stole $515.20 worth of merchandise from Stop and Shop in September.
According to police, the man exited Stop and Shop, located at 65 Shore Road, with a cart filled with several unpaid items, including beer, baby formula and pampers on Sept. 22 at about 6:40 p.m.
The man, who is wanted for petty larceny, was stopped outside the store by Stop and Shop personnel, but fled on foot, leaving the stolen items behind, police said.

This incident is under investigation by the Port Washington Police District.
