Man Stole Designer Handbag Worth $1.3K From Manhasset Store: Police

Authorities are looking to identify the man who stole a designer handbag valued at $1,290 from a Manhasset store in November 2015.

On Nov. 9, police say the man was spotted on surveillance camera at the Salvatore Ferragamo Store, located at 2106 Northern Boulevard, grabbing a black USC Salvatore Ferragamo ladies handbag and leaving the store without paying for the item at 1:10 p.m.

The man, who is wanted for grand larceny, fled the scene in a tan or silver Chevy Malibu, that had other passengers inside, in an unknown direction.
