HELPFUL APP: Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano has launched “Nassau Now,” a state-of-the-art mobile and web app which provides a free and simple way for residents to use a smartphone or tablet to contact Nassau County directly. This is one of those apps that once you try it, you're going to wonder how we got along without it. You can take a picture of potholes, downed trees etc. and send them directly. It has live webcam traffic feeds. And, a 'direct dial' button to call Mangano. Easy links to calendar and other helpful county-wide information.
