Manorhaven Students Do the 'Whip' and 'Nae Nae' for Pediatric Cancer
The dance craze performance was for a good cause.
Young students at Manorhaven Elementary School recently danced the “Whip” and “Nae Nae” while participating in the national Whip Pediatric Cancer challenge.
Wearing shades of gold, the official color of the pediatric cancer awareness ribbon, students performed the “Watch Me Whip and Nae Nae” song and dance by Silento. The challenge was in recognition of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month.
Physical education teacher Megaera Regan and a group of fifth-grade students led first graders in the gymnasium while other classes followed their direction, as the dance was simulcast into classrooms via the smart board.
