Meet the Candidates Vying for a Seat on the Port Washington Library Board

Candidates will hold presentations and answer questions from the audience at a public forum next week.

Residents are invited to learn more about the people who want to serve on the Port Washington Library Board for the next five years at a public forum next week.

Five people are vying for two non-paying seats on the Port Washington Library Board:

  • Nancy Comer
  • William Keller
  • Jeff Siegel
  • Ronit Daniel
  • Eric Kruger

The League of Women Voters of Port Washington-Manhasset will hold the forum on Wednesday, March 30 in the Port Washington Public Library’s Lapham Meeting Room at 7:45 p.m. The library is located at 1 Library Drive.

Candidates will hold brief presentations and answer questions from the audience.

The new board members will be determined by the Port Washington Library Board and Budget Election, which will be held on Tuesday, April 12 at the library from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

How to vote:

You must be registered to vote and be a resident of the Port Washington School District.

In-person registration will be offered at the library on Tuesday, April 5 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

If you cannot vote on April 12, you can obtain an absentee ballot at the library or download a ballot from the library website.
