Meet Your Local Senate, Assembly Candidates in Manhasset
Residents are invited to get to know candidates so they can make an informed decision on Election Day.
The League of Women Voters of Port Washington-Manhasset is hosting a Meet the Candidates night Thursday in Manhasset.
Residents are invited to get to know candidates running for a spot on the 7th Senate District, which was formerly occupied by Jack Martins, as well as the 16th Assembly District, formerly occupied by Michelle Schimel.
- Senate candidates include: Adam Haber (D) and Elaine Phillips (R)
- Assembly candidates include: Anthony D’Urso (D) and Matthew Varvaro (R)
The event will be held from 7-9 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock, located at 48 Shelter Rock Road.
