Missing Port Washington Teen Found Safe: PD
Two teenagers were reported missing and last seen boarding a LIRR train together last week– both have now been located, police say.
PORT WASHINGTON, NY — The Port Washington teenager who was last seen and reported missing last week has been found safe, police said.
Nassau County police said 16-year-old Elize Avazis was last seen boarding a Port Washington LIRR train to Penn Station at 7:40 a.m., and was reported missing at 8:50 a.m. on Jan. 14.
NCPD said Avazis was with 15-year-old Ana Birbiglia when she boarded the train, and Birbiglia was found on Friday.
