N. Hempstead Announces Mailing of 2017 General Tax Bills
This is the only General Tax Bill residents will receive.

Attention Town of North Hempstead residents: the 2017 General Tax bills have been mailed, Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman announced Tuesday.
This is the only General Tax Bill residents will receive. Please keep the second-half stub in a safe place.

First-half 2017 General Tax payments must be postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service on or before February 10 to avoid penalty. If you are paying in full by February 10, please remember to take the one percent (1%) discount on the second-half amount as indicated on your bill.
Second-half 2017 General Tax payments are payable without penalty on or before August 10, 2017. If you mail your payment on or just before the due date, please have your payment envelope hand stamped inside the Post Office to ensure a timely postmark.

Online tax payment information is shown on the reverse side of your bill. Online payments may be made by check (ACH) or credit card at: www.northhempsteadny.gov. Credit card payments may only be made online and cannot be processed by our cashiers. Online credit card payment processing rates are 2.35 percent of the tax amount (fee schedule can be found on the Town’s website). When paying with an online check through your bank, please schedule the payment at least ten days prior to the deadline, and be sure to include your 2017 General Tax bill number and your section, block and lot.
When paying in person, you may pay your bill at 200 Plandome Road in Manhasset, during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays excepted). The Tax Office will be open until 7 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017. You may also pay at the following sites with check or money order only on the dates and times specified.

- Fuschillo Park, located at Carle Road and Broadmoor Land in Carle Place, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Yes We Can Community Center, located at 141 Garden St. in New Cassel from 1 to 2 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 1
- Clinton G. Martin Park, located on Marcus Avenue and New Hyde Park Road, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Broadway Park, located at Broadway and County Courthouse Road in Garden City Park, from 2 to 3 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 2
- Great Neck Social Center, located at 80 Grace Ave. in Great Neck, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Michael J. Tully Park, located on Evergreen Avenue in New Hyde Park, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 3
- John D. Caemmerer Park, on Wentworth Avenue in Albertson, from 12 to 2 p.m.
Monday, Feb. 6
- Port Washington Parking Dist., located at 15 Vanderventer Ave. in Port Washington, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Hector Gayle Roslyn Community Center, located at 53 Orchard St. in Roslyn Heights from 1 to 2 p.m. (Parking lot on Lincoln Ave.)
