Meet North Hempstead's 29 Most Amazing Seniors
The town's Senior Recognition Event had to expand to two days due to so many deserving seniors.
So many seniors from Town of North Hempstead were honored at the 45th Annual Senior Recognition Luncheon that the event was extended to two days.
Twenty-nine seniors were recognized for their dedication to their respective communities and for their work with senior groups on May 23 and 24.
“We have so many wonderful seniors to recognize here in the Town of North Hempstead, that we needed to expand our Senior Recognition Event to two days,” Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth said in a press release. “This speaks volumes about the vast number of remarkable seniors who dedicate so much of their time to serving others. Each and every one of our honorees serves as a role model for all of us.”
