North Hempstead TV's 'Off the Trail' Wins Hometown Media Award
Who said government TV has to be dull?

Members of North Hempstead Television accepted a first place Hometown Media award for their original nature program, “Off the Trail.”
“Off the Trail” is hosted by ranger Eric Powers and directed by Alan Ginsberg and Samantha Hollinde of AGinsberg Productions LLC. It takes a look into local nature in the North Hempstead area, observing everything from bats to foxes to horseshoe crabs.
The program received first place honors in the Entertainment & Arts Series category at the Alliance for Community Media awards ceremony in Boston, MA on August 19.

“It’s wonderful to have the Town recognized by the Alliance for Community Media,” Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth said in a press release. “We believe that government TV doesn’t have to be dull. I encourage everyone in North Hempstead to take a look at the high-quality, educational and entertaining programming that is on North Hempstead TV.”
