North Shore Animal League, Swiffer Partner For Pet Adoption Month
Swiffer will sponsor $50 off adoption fees for 50 approved adopters at NSALA June 22-28.

SWIFFER and NORTH SHORE ANIMAL LEAGUE AMERICA (NSALA) are partnering to close out their month-long nationwide SWIFFER’S ‘ADOPTION SWEEP’ campaign for June, National Pet Adoption Month with another week of adoption specials. Beginning Monday, June 22 and continuing through Sunday, June 28, Swiffer will cover $50 of the adoption fees for 50 approved adopters at North Shore Animal League America’s campus in Port Washington, NY. The partnership kicked off their national promotion with a week of adoption specials at NSALA June 1 through June 7.

Adoptions are being conducted via Appointment Only. If you are interested in adopting from NSALA, here are the steps to follow:
- Visit www.animalleague.org/swiffersadoptionsweep and fill out the online inquiry form.
- NSALA Adoption Team representative will contact you to complete adoption paperwork when they are able.
- Approved adopters will be contacted with a date and time to complete the process and identify an animal to adopt.
- In order to maintain social distancing and keep our staff, volunteers, adopters, and animals safe, we are minimizing the number of people permitted in our Adoption Center at any given time.
Throughout June, National Pet Adoption Month, Swiffer is sponsoring adoption specials at participating NSALA shelter partners nationwide and will cover up to a total of $50,000 of adoption fees as part of Swiffer’s “Adoption Sweep” program. With more time at home, Americans have been adopting and fostering shelter animals at higher-than-average rates. Swiffer is hoping that this campaign will continue the momentum of fostering and adoption.
