October Events at The Landmark on Main

Ann Hampton Callaway Presents The Streisand Songbook  Saturday, Oct. 19 at 8 p.m.

Ann Hampton Callaway is a masterful songwriter and one of the American songbook's greatest champions. We are proud to welcome her back with her critically acclaimed cabaret show (MAC Award for Show of the Year) that pays magical tribute to the songs of another master - Barbra Streisand.  Tickets for the show are Premium* $52 Friends $47 Standard* $47 Friends $42. 

The Idan Raichel Project  Friday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m.

In 2003, an unusual song began airing on Israeli radio stations. With its haunting chorus in the Ethiopian language of Amharic and an exotic, global fusion sound "Bo'ee" became an instant crossover hit that catapulted The Idan Raichel Project to the top of Israel's pop charts, and turned a young dreadlocked keyboardist and producer into a household name in his native land. The Idan Raichel Project has become known around the world for its cross-cultural collaborations that changed the face of Israeli popular music. Jamie Ford  Monday, Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Jamie Ford is the New York Times bestselling author of Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. In addition to becoming a Barnes & Noble Book Club Selection, Pennie's Pick at Costco, and Target Bookmarked Club Pick, and a National Bestseller, it was also translated into 32 languages. Jamie will be joining us as he tours with his second novel,Songs of Willow Frost, out September 2013. This program is co-presented by The Dolphin Book Shop who will sell books on-site at the event.
