Peep This: Preschoolers Raise Baby Chicks in Port Washington
The students threw a farewell party and even wrote the baby chicks goodbye cards.
Peep this adorable story: The children at the Florence Brownstein Preschool at Chabad of Port Washington were in for a special surprise during one of their classroom visits.
Members from the Quiver Farm in Pennsylvania came to the preschool for a presentation and brought a French rooster and hen. Before driving back to Pennsylvania, they left the preschoolers with an incubator with a dozen eggs.
The children were able to watch the eggs hatch and see the cute little chicks enter this world.

They fed and took care of the chicks for an entire week before returning the chicks to farm family. The students threw a farewell party for the chicks and even wrote them goodbye cards.
