Playwright Visits Schreiber High School in Port Washington

John Cariani, who wrote the play 'Almost, Maine,' worked with student-actors before the school's production of the play.

Prior to Paul D. Schreiber High School’s production of “Almost, Maine,” award-winning actor and accomplished playwright John Cariani – who wrote the play “Almost, Maine” – visited the school to work with student-actors on their scenes.

Cariani worked carefully on the scenes with the actors and answered questions about the characters for students. He spent time with the “opening moments” of each scene, helping the student-actors to be “in the moment” from the instant they appeared on stage.
