Police Log: Shoplifting Arrest, Reports of Burglary and Grand Larceny

Monday, Feb. 22

At 12:45 p.m., a Port Washington woman was placed under arrest for shoplifting on Shore Road.

At 4:57 p.m., police reported a burglary on Beacon Drive in which jewelry was stolen. The incident is under investigation.

Tuesday, Feb. 23

At 12:56 p.m., an East Garden City man was arrested for driving with a suspended license on Port Washington Boulevard.

Wednesday, Feb. 24

At 1:21 a.m., a Port Washington man was placed under arrest for an open warrant on Main Street.

Saturday, Feb. 27

At 7:41 p.m., a Port Washington man was placed under arrest for violating an order of protection on Mackey Avenue.

Monday, Feb. 29

At 12:43 p.m., police reported grand larceny in which credit cards were stolen from a vehicle on Fairway Drive. The incident is under investigation.
