The woman attempted to withdraw money from a California woman's account using the victim's driver's license Tuesday, police said.

A 54-year-old woman was arrested after police say she attempted to withdraw money from an account using forged documents at a bank in Greenvale on Tuesday at 5:10 p.m.

Kathleen S. Morrison, of Manhattan, entered Wells Fargo Bank, 9 Northern Boulevard, and attempted to withdraw money from a California woman’s account by showing the teller a forged driver’s license and a signed slip in the victim’s name, police said.

Authorities were called in for an investigation and discovered that Morrison was in possession of a forged driver’s license and a forged Capital One credit card, police said.
