Port Builds the 'World's Tallest LEGO Menorah' at Annual Event

Once the menorah was built, The Community Synagogue in Port Washington held a ceremony.

Over 150 people came to The Community Synagogue in Port Washington to help build the ”world’s tallest LEGO menorah” on Thursday, Dec. 10.

People of all ages, ranging from 2-13 years old, helped participate in the annual “Build the World’s Tallest LEGO Menorah” event. They all watched while the bases were hammered together to create the stalks of the menorah.

Once the menorah was completed, it was the perfect time for a ceremony. Rabbi Irwin Zeplowitz then climbed to the top of a 15-foot ladder to light the candles and recite the blessings.
