On Saturday, Oct. 18, Port Washington hosted a first round playoff game for the varsity girls soccer team. Feldman, a parent of former students in the district and whose daughter played soccer and lacrosse, reached out to the athletic department, offering to donate portable lights so the team could host the night game. The district accepted the donation.

Feldman’s company provided the lights, insurance, fuel and set up of equipment, oversaw the delivery and his crew worked together with the district’s grounds crew. His generosity allowed for the first night game in six years, which was viewed by more than 250 spectators.
