Port Washington Chamber of Commerce Installation Dinner Highlights

Several notable members of the community were in attendance at The Port Washington Chamber of Commerce’s annual installation dinner on Wednesday.

The organization installed its officers and directors at the new f.i.sh. restaurant on Main Street.

Highlights of the night:

• The Chamber bestowed the 2015 Community Service Award to the Baxter’s Pond Foundation. The award was accepted by Nancy Comer, the Foundation’s President and Treasurer. The Baxter’s Pond Foundation is devoted to beautifying the area and maintaining its environmental integrity.
• Warren Schein, Chamber co-president, served as the emcee for the evening’s ceremonies.
• Town Councilwoman Dina De Giorgio administered the oath of office to the board of directors, NYS Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel administered the oath to the officers and Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth administered the oath to the co-presidents.
