Port Washington Children’s Center 100th Day of School
The Port Washington Children's Center Recently Marked the 100th Day of School with a Series of Fun, Hands-On Activities
The Port Washington Children’s Center recently marked the 100th Day of School with a series of fun, hands-on activities that encouraged creativity, collaboration and plenty of laughter.
Students enthusiastically embraced the milestone by dressing up as centenarians, arriving at school with gray wigs, vintage clothing and imaginative costumes that brought smiles to classmates and teachers alike. The celebration continued throughout the day with engaging projects centered around the number 100.
Children worked together to create a colorful painting of a 100-eyed monster, combining art and teamwork as they counted and added each eye. Other activities included making necklaces made of 100 Cheerios and decorating drawings of giant cupcakes with exactly 100 sprinkles. These playful projects helped reinforce early math and counting skills while keeping the atmosphere festive and interactive.
