Port Washington Community Discusses Educational Goals With Board of Ed
What goals would you like to see be implemented?
The goals of the 2015-16 school year were discussed at a recent Parent Council of Port Washington Union Free School District meeting with members of the Board of Education and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kathleen Mooney.
The board created goals that were in the best interest of the children and the community as a whole. They discussed ideas about budget and facilities, curriculum and policy and personnel with members of the community.
Following the discussion, the Parent Council facilitated a Q-and-A session for community members to ask the board about their goals and objectives for the school year.
